Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with mail.cx. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment — no questions asked. This right applies to your initial subscription and does not apply to automatic renewals.
To request a refund, contact us at service@mail.cx with your account email, or contact Paddle directly through your payment receipt. We aim to process all refund requests within 3 business days.
After a refund, your Pro plan will be downgraded to Free immediately. API token quota will be reduced to 1, and Pro custom domains will lose their 7-day retention. Existing emails in your inboxes are not affected. You may cancel your subscription at any time — Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I use mail.cx without paying?
Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited disposable inboxes, real-time SSE delivery, multiple system domains to pick from, and 1 API token (8 req/s, 1,500 Ops/mo). No credit card required. Custom domains require Pro.
What's included in Pro?
Pro includes 10 API tokens (10 req/s, 200,000 Ops/mo), 10 custom domains with 7-day retention, real-time SSE push, and priority support.
How does billing work?
Pro is billed monthly.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription — no questions asked. Contact service@mail.cx or Paddle directly.
What are Ops and how are they counted?
Ops are metered only when you use an API token (created from your Dashboard). Web UI browsing — logged in or anonymous — doesn't consume Ops. Each API-token call to create a mailbox or read email content (a single email, raw EML, or attachment) costs 1 Op. Listing the inbox, deleting emails, real-time push, and management actions (auth, settings, tokens, domains) are free. Free includes 1,500 Ops/month, Pro 200,000. The quota resets on the 1st of each month (UTC).
