Pricing FAQ
Can I use Mail.cx without paying?
Yes. The Free plan includes instant test inboxes, real-time email receiving, WebSocket notifications, and 7-day retention. No credit card required.
What's included in Pro?
Pro includes up to 100,000 mailboxes, 5 custom domains, webhook integration with HMAC-SHA256 signing, API tokens for automation, 50 MB storage per mailbox, and the ability to reset any mailbox password from the Pro dashboard.
How does billing work?
Pro is billed monthly at $9/month.
What happens if I downgrade?
All mailboxes under your Pro account will stop receiving emails. Custom domains will be disabled. Webhook integrations will be disabled. You will no longer be able to reset mailbox passwords from the dashboard. Existing emails are not affected and will expire normally. If you do not resubscribe within 90 days, your Pro account and all associated mailboxes will be permanently deleted.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription — no questions asked. Contact service@mail.cx or Paddle directly.
How are emails retained?
All emails are automatically deleted after 7 days for both Free and Pro plans. Attachments and raw .eml files are also permanently removed after expiration.
