Refund Policy

Last updated: November 2026

Overview

Mail.cx ("the Service") is an independently operated email-receiving service; "we", "us" and "our" refer to its operator. Pro is sold through our online reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, registry code 16977866, Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia), which is the Merchant of Record for every order: Creem processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles any sales tax or VAT. Creem's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase in addition to this policy and our Terms of Service. This Refund Policy applies to the Pro plan, sold as a one-time payment of $9.9 for one year of Pro that does not renew automatically, to Pro subscriptions bought before one-time payments were introduced, and to any other paid plan purchased through the Service.

15-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Pro, you can request a full refund within 15 days of your first Pro purchase. No reason is required: every request made within that window for an account's first purchase is refunded in full. The guarantee covers the first Pro payment on an account only; later purchases (such as an additional year) and renewal payments of subscriptions bought earlier are not covered.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at from the email address on your mail.cx account and include the Creem order ID shown on the receipt Creem emailed you. We handle every refund request ourselves and respond within 3 business days. If you have not heard from us within 7 days, you can contact Creem support at creem.io/contact.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued exclusively by Creem, as the Merchant of Record, back to the original payment method. They typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We never take payments or issue refunds outside Creem.

Refunds Issued by Creem

Independently of this policy, Creem may refund a payment where the law or card-network rules require it, for duplicate payments or technical errors, in connection with suspected fraud or a payment dispute, and at its own discretion within 60 days of purchase.

After a Refund

Once a refund of a Pro payment is processed, the year of Pro bought with that payment ends at once; any other year you have bought is not affected and starts straight away. If no other purchased year is running, your account returns to the Free plan: new mail is kept for 1 hour instead of 72 hours, and Pro features such as custom domains, dedicated system domains and API keys stop working. Your API keys and domain settings are kept, so they work again if you buy Pro again. Mail already stored is not deleted early.

After the Refund Period

After the 15-day period, payments are non-refundable, and no refund is given for the unused part of a period you have already paid for, except where Creem issues a refund as described above or the law requires one.

Renewal and Cancellation

Pro bought with a one-time payment does not renew and needs no cancelling: it ends by itself at the end of its year, and nothing is charged again unless you buy another year. If you bought Pro earlier as an automatically renewing subscription, you can cancel it at any time from your dashboard: the renewal stops and Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. A cancellation made in the Creem billing portal — at creem.io/my-orders/login — takes effect immediately and returns the account to the Free plan at once. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period; within the 15-day window, request a refund as described above.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, such as the right of withdrawal of consumers in the European Union. Where those rights are greater than what is described here, they apply.
